Through a partnership between Leveling the Playing Field and the Team Bradley Fund, a donation box for sporting equipment has been set up at Devola Soccer Fields

Pack the Park event at Meadowood Regional Park in Baltimore on April 16th, 2025. People from the community came out and donated thousands of dollars worth of sports equipment for youth programs. If you didn’t get the chance to participate, here’s how you can donate your sports equipment!

Every three to four weeks. That’s how often Leveling the Playing Field, a nonprofit that collects and distributes used sports equipment, checks their donation bins around the city and county. They’re large green boxes that read “Donate Sports Equipment.”

The Voorhees 4th Grade Travel A basketball team turned a passion for the game into an opportunity to give back by hosting a shoot-a-thon at Signal Hill Elementary School on March 3 to support Leveling the Playing Field, a nonprofit that provides sports equipment to clubs and schools in need.

Leveling the Playing Field and Silver Spring Cares are teaming up to collect equipment for children who may not have the proper gear to participate in sports through March 31st, 2025

Each bracket purchased helps LPF to provide free sports equipment to schools and youth programs so more kids can enjoy the physical and mental benefits of sports.

One local partnership is helping Bennett Venture Academy scholars get on the field and enhancing their athletic experiences at school.

LPF partnered with Chester Upland Youth Soccer to give away soccer gear such as cleats, shin guards, socks, and backpacks to kids at a distribution event at Main Street Elementary School in Chester, PA in October 2024
