In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy, CUYS volunteers spent “a day on, not a day off,” giving time to the community by helping to inventory and sort donated sports equipment at Leveling the Playing Field’s new facility in Sharon Hill, PA. This story ran on Jan. 18, 2022.

The Baltimore Ravens mascot Poe, cheerleaders and other team staff handed out packages of food Tuesday to families at Belmont Elementary School.They also gave out hats, gloves and sports equipment thanks to donations from CareFirst and Leveling the Playing Field. This story ran on Dec. 14, 2021.

Leveling the Playing Field is combatting this by helping children in need through the distribution of LPF Kits filled with sports equipment. This fall, Leveling the Playing Field plans to disperse 2,500 LPF Kits.

Headfirst Summer Camps will be promoting LPF’s contactless donation program to their campers.
