Leveling the Playing Field Begins Search for Next Executive Director

Leveling the Playing Field Executive Director Search

February 23rd, 2026

Leveling the Playing Field (LPF) seeks its next Executive Director, succeeding founder Max Levitt, who stepped down from his role last summer. LPF is at an exciting inflection point, moving from a founder-led growth phase to an established national organization.

The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, oversee a $3.1M budget and 20+ staff, drive revenue strategy and fundraising, and serve as a trusted spokesperson for LPF’s mission of expanding access and equity by redistributing athletic equipment to under-resourced communities. Candidates should bring significant senior leadership experience, strong fundraising and financial management skills, and a passion for sports-based youth development.

LPF is conducting this search in partnership with Good Insight. For more details and to apply, visit www.good-insight.org/careers.

Best consideration will be given to applications received by mid-March 2026.

As the world watches some of the best tennis players compete on one of the sport’s biggest stages, it’s worth remembering that every player had to start somewhere.

Maybe it was a racquet in their hands for the first time in PE class.
Maybe it was their first practice.
Maybe it was the moment they felt joy trying something new.

For kids, that first experience can be the beginning of something much bigger: building confidence, finding community, learning resilience, and discovering a sport they can carry with them for years to come.

But that first experience isn’t possible for every child without access to the right equipment.

That’s why every day, we work to make sure more kids have the chance to get out there, get in the game, and discover where their own love of sport begins. ♥️🎾

The best part is that every bid directly supports our mission to give more kids the opportunity to play and experience the many benefits of sports. ⚽🏀⚾🎾

The auction runs for one week, so get ready to bid, have some fun, and help us expand access to sports for ALL kids!
