A local teen is trying to make youth sports more affordable for families. Whether it’s a touchdown or the game-winning goal, 17-year-old Caroline Mohamadi believes sports should be available to all. That’s why she started an organization called Play it FWD.

Kleats For Kids founder and Newtown High School senior Marc Maurath is passing the torch to keep a great tradition going. It will continue with Owen and Noah Blair following in his foot (cleat) steps. Maurath will help with the transition this spring.
