“LPF’s donation has positively impacted hundreds of children who otherwise would not have had the opportunity to get the supplies and practice their favorite sport. Thanks to LPF, hundreds of children from low-income families now play baseball, soccer, and other sports.”

“LPF’s donations have allowed us to provide families (youth) with [sports] equipment that they might not otherwise be able to afford. We serve a population of families, where food is the greatest need, and therefore, playing sports & being able to afford equipment is tough! During our community outreach events, and after school family engagement programming (Transforming Tuesdays) families are grateful for the opportunity to be able to pick up these much desired items for free! Thank you for being available to us, so that we can provide hope to families!”

In January 2018, LPF expanded to a second warehouse in Hampden to better serve the Baltimore area. LPF Baltimore hit the ground running and quickly mobilized local schools, sports leagues, businesses, and families to donate their unused sporting equipment to help local kids in need. By the end of its second year, LPF Baltimore had collected over $1 million worth of sporting equipment, engaged 500+ volunteers, and distributed over $1 million worth of sporting equipment to 188 unique programs in need.
