In February, LPF welcomed CSCs to our Greater Washington, Baltimore, and Philadelphia locations for our annual CSC Distribution Day!
CSCs, or Community School Coordinators, are often workers within schools who manage student and family support services, and assist in building environments for all students to succeed. Since 2022, LPF has hosted CSCs at warehouse so they can pick up free items for their students which often go overlooked, such a apparel, shoes, hoodies, hats, and other items to incentivize learning.
This year, CSC Day was bigger than ever, with over $100,000 worth of equipment going to 56 unique community schools. LPF Greater Washington lead the way with over $48,000 worth of apparel and sports equipment distributed in a single day, while LPF Baltimore welcomed 23 unique programs.
CSC Day was made possible with apparel donations and sponsorship from partners such as Ron Jaworski’s Foundation: Jaws Youth Playbook, the Washington Commanders Foundation, Monumental Sports Foundation, DC United, the Philadelphia Union, The Sixers Youth Foundation, The Philadelphia Eagles, Under Armour, and Soocer.com
