Game 4 of the @mlb #WorldSeries is tonight! ⚾ The Game 4 of the @mlb #WorldSeries is tonight! ⚾ The World Series is a culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and practice. But if we rewind the script, every single one of those players had to start somewhere. Having an opportunity to play is where it all begins. At LPF, we want EVERY kid to have that opportunity. “LPF supplied the kids from West Atlanta with gloves, cleats, and a full equipment bag. Every team in our league received helmets, bats, and catcher’s gear, so that any player who couldn’t bring their own equipment wouldn’t stand out.” — East Atlanta Youth Sports Little League This is just one example of what access to equipment can make possible. So far this year, we’ve distributed more than 35,000 baseball items to kids, from balls, gloves, and bats to bags, cleats, clothing, and more. Behind every piece of equipment is a chance for another kid to get in the game. Let’s continue making a difference together. 💚
As a result of all the donated sports equipment we As a result of all the donated sports equipment we’ve been able to distribute since launching in 2013, 99% of LPF beneficiary programs report increased youth participation rates! This means more kids are getting the chance to play, grow, and experience the many benefits of sports. That’s what matters to us, that’s what it’s all about! 💚🧡
There’s something special about young people showi There’s something special about young people showing up for their peers. Last month, 11th graders from The Potomac School in McLean, VA visited our warehouse to volunteer as part of their Community Action Day. We spoke to student-athletes Lila and Leighton about the important role that sports has played in their lives and why giving back through LPF was so meaningful to them. Thank you to The Potomac School and all of our wonderful volunteers for supporting our mission of getting kids off the sidelines! 🙏
