Max Levitt founded Leveling the Playing Field in 2013 in his native Washington, DC. Since that time, LPF has grown from a grassroots project to a multi-chapter organization that has donated $15M+ worth of sporting equipment to over 2,000 programs in need. Max served as the Executive Director from LPF’s inception until October of 2025. Max worked tirelessly to bring LPF to communities across the country to ensure that every kid has the opportunity to play sports.
