Tracy Scarrow

Attorney
Board Chair

Tracy Scarrow is a lawyer and has worked for over 25 years in a variety of positions in the federal government.

While raising two great kids and working, she has also volunteered countless hours in the community — with her kids’ schools; an organization dedicated to providing meals and housing for D.C.’s homeless; an organization that distributes funds to families touched by pediatric cancer; her neighborhood park; and her kids’ sports teams.

Tracy has held various positions on non-profit boards and first learned of Leveling the Playing Field in a Washington Post article.  Tracy was thrilled to find LPF, a home for the ever growing collection of excess sports equipment in her neighborhood, and an outlet for her continued desire to serve her community.  She joined the Board in 2016 and currently serves as Board Chair.

Growing up, Tracy played soccer, ran cross country, and was an avid skier. But, Tracy and her husband are more in awe of their kids who both play multiple sports.  Sports have played such a large part in Tracy’s family’s life, that it is important for her to help provide other children with the same athletic opportunities.  Tracy is doing her part to help level the playing field.
